PostSubject: Hiding your Race   Mon Jan 30, 2012 10:42 pm

Ravenhurst is a masquerade sim, we hold the veil. This means that all supernaturals must (!) hide their race. All outward signs of your character AV must reflect a purely human appearance. This means tails, horns, ears, fangs, teeth, hooves, fur, wings, clawes, eyes, scales, gills, flippers, magical auras, zombies, dragons or anything else that might tip someone off that you are something other than human. Wear a cape, cloak or hide it.

You might just look like a supernatural if you:
Float, levitate, glow, burn with no apparent damage, fly, disappear, summon objects to your hand.

If you so choose to break the masquerade where we will assume that there are hundreds of humans, any permakill restrictions you have in your profile may be considered null and void, and other supernaturals will likely dispose of you quickly to avoid disclosure and awareness of their own existance.

The general human rp is that there is no public or general consensus that supernaturals exist.

Just because there are not avatars around, doesn't mean that there are no NPC humans around to witness breaks of the veil in town. Assume that in town there are always humans within earshot and eyesight and that supernaturals are the vast majority.
